Brook Drabot enjoys the solitary nature of lampworked glass. She creates each piece by hand from her home studio. Her forms are derrived through experimentation of her medium and informed by the natural environment she is surrounded by.

Morning person or night owl? I love working in the morning but for now with my two boys at home most of my work is done at night. Wishful morning person and reluctant night owl.

The smell that brings you back to your childhood?  The smell of warm moss on a sunny day reminds me of my grandparents and makes me instantly happy.

What do you do to treat yourself after a long day in the studio? Washing my face feels like such a treat after getting overheated and dirty, followed by a hot shower. Maybe a glass of wine if I don’t fall asleep first.
