KAREN & JASON HARE

WOOD...MOST OF THE TIME

As partners in both life and work, Karen and Jason design with the intention to honour material, time, practice and place. The objects they create are inspired by material and materialized through curiosity and play.

Karen`s focus lies in that of traditional hand work, while Jason combines hand work with the use of digital fabrication.

LEANNE MUIR

WHEEL THROWN, WOOD FIRED CERAMICS

Leanne is a multi-disciplinary designer with a background in Environmental Design and Landscape Architecture.  She is drawn to ceramics as a way to feel peace and stillness. Her work is both simple and special - she considers the subtleties of each pot and trusts the wood fire to add the right kind of imperfection.  Leanne works out of Pigeon Alley Studio in Winnipeg’s Exchange District.
